
Charleroi Dominates with 2-0 Victory Over Standard
The Pro League match between Standard Liège and Sporting Charleroi at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne last night ended with an away victory of 2-0, featuring many key moments throughout the game.
The game started with a setback for the home team as Marco Ilaimaharitra received a red card in the 23rd minute. The visitors faced a similar situation when Kevin Van Den Kerkhof was sent off in the 40th minute.
In the second half, Sporting Charleroi scored their first goal in the 75th minute through Jakob Napoleon Romsaas, putting the away team ahead 1-0, followed by a second goal from Antoine Bernier in the 86th minute, extending the score to 2-0.
Despite the home team's efforts to regain control, they were unable to make an impact. In the end, Standard Liège had to play with fewer players as Teddy Teuma and Ibrahim Karamoko were sent off late in the game.
